Pineapple Chicken

I never tried pineapple chicken before I created this masterpiece and boy am I glad that I did!! 

WHAT YOU NEED:

  • 5-6 Chicken legs
  • 1 Can sliced pineapples
  • 1 Can crushed pineapples (I didn’t used the whole thing)
  • 1 small onion
  • 3 garlic cloves
  • 2 tbsp of honey

CHICKEN RUB:

  • 1.5 tsp salt
  • 2 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 tsp onion powder
  • 1.5 tsp consume
  • 1.5 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp oregano
  • .5 tsp pepper
  • 1 tsp consume

Rub the chicken with the spice mixture and fry on both sides in a small amount of oil. Remove the chicken and wipe down the pan so that the burnt particles are gone. Saute garlic and onions and in the same pan I sautéed a few slices of  pineapple with smoked paprika to place on top of the chicken in the end to make it look pretty. I removed the pineapple slices and added the honey, crushed pineapple and the pineapple slices with the juice. Brought to a boil and I added more of the spices just in case I needed more flavoring because I want it to explode in my mouth. I added the chicken to the pan, covered  it and baked for about an hour on 350. At the end I uncovered the chicken and baked on 450 for a crispy top. It is so amazing and you have got to try it the end.
