This is a really fun and fancy recipe! It’s also something kids will love.
WHAT YOU NEED:
- 1 Large onion
- Barbeque sauce: 4 tbsp of bold barbeque sauce, 1 tbsp of honey and 1 tbsp of mustard
- Sliced carrots
- 3 Abeles and Heymann beef knockwurts
- Half a sheet of puff pastry dough
- 1 Egg
- French’s Crispy Fried Onions in the carmelized flavor
- Oil
Saute slices of onion until translucent. Add the barbeque sauce, mix it altogether and cook for a few minutes on low. Let it cool while spreading out the puff pastry dough. Add sliced carrots in a line, the barbeque onions and a sausage and roll it up. Press down on the ends and cut off any extra dough. Coat in egg wash and crushed french’s fried onions and set on a oiled pan. Bake on 350 until the dough gets a little brown. Slice it up and serve like sushi! You can serve with mustard or ketchup, but it is amazing by itself! Hope you like this recipe and, as always, let me know if you recreate it! 😀
