I MADE PURPLE RICE. Carry on. 🙋🏼♀️🍚💁🏼♀️🍚
I cooked rice like normal but I just added in purple cabbage while cooking! Remove the cabbage from the pot after a few minutes and the water was purple! Jordan totally loved it! The salmon was coated in a mixture of mayo, mustard and honey and baked on 350 degrees until dark and crispy on the outside, around 30 minutes or so. And I added some fresh veggies on top. I also added teriyaki mushrooms which were sautéed in teriyaki sauce for a little. Add spicy mayo sauce and you have a delicious, flavorful, fun, colorful, healthy dinner!
This pasta dish has everything you need. The thick creamy sauce with the salty and spicy salmon really plays with your taste buds.
WHAT YOU NEED:
Fettuccine pasta, 1/2 of the box
1/3 Cup milk
1/4 Cup reserved pasta cooking water
16 oz Mozzarella and cheddar cheese combo
2 Heaping tablespoons cream cheese
1 Teaspoon garlic powder
2 Salmon fillet slices
Basil Parsley Oregano
Boil a pot of water and add fettuccine pasta with a drop of oil since they tend to stick together. I set the timer because I like the pasta al dente.
While that was going, brush two pieces of salmon fillet with olive oil or you can use Pam oil spray. Before spicing it, I cut slits in the salmon so that it can cook on the skin and remain moist and it will be super easy to take apart later and add to the pasta. I used two spices together to coat the salmon. The first spice is the everyday spice from Trader Joe’s and it basically has a combination of salt, pepper, garlic powder and onion powder and the second one is a favorite of mine. It is the Ossie’s Louisiana Cajun spice (https://www.instagram.com/ossiesfish/ ). Coat the salmon and bake it on 350 degrees for around 25-30 minutes, uncovered.
Back to the pasta, drain the pasta and made the sauce in that same pot reserving some of the pasta cooking water. If you forget and drain it all you can also add flour to thicken the cheese sauce. To the pot I added the milk, pasta cooking water, mozzarella and cheddar cheese, cream cheese, garlic powder, sprinkle of each basil, parsley, and oregano. Add salt and pepper to taste. Mix well on medium low heat until there are no lumps. Add pasta to cheese and mix. When coated evenly, I put the pasta on a dish and added the salmon chunks on top. They go so well together! You can eat them separately too, but don’t be a party pooper. 😛
You might ask “what is so great about this recipe?” Well, let me tell ya that this recipe that I posted on Instagram is probably my most asked about and approved recipe yet!! I don’t know what it is, but everyone seems to love it and I could not be happier to share it here! It’s so simple and kid friendly! Let me stop rambling and give it to you already!
WHAT YOU NEED:
- 2 Cans of tuna fish
- 1 Chopped, sautéed, small onion
- 1 Egg
- 1 Tbsp mayo
- 1 Tbsp mustard
- 2 Tbsp cornflake crumbs
- 1/4 Cup shredded mozzarella cheese(or more. Can’t go wrong with cheese😉)
- Sprinkle of Salt, pepper, paprika and garlic powder
Mix all of the ingredients together. And I used the same pan that I sautéed the onion in to cook the patties in afterwards. I took a large spoonful of the mixture, flattened it a bit and fried it in a little oil until crispy. The cheese melts out a little and it’s seriously incredible! You can serve it in a bun or over salad or just eat alone. Can be frozen as well for easy dinner prep. You can bake these, too! Just spray both sides with Pam. Enjoy!

WHAT YOU NEED:
- Salmon, around 16 oz
- 10 oz sliced mushrooms
- 6 Tbsp of breadcrumbs
- 2 Tbsp olive oil
- 4 Tbsp soy sauce
- Sriracha sauce according to taste
- Salt and Pep
- Garlic Powder
- 2 Tsp sugar
You can use finely chopped mushrooms or blend it all together. Mix everything together. Layer salmon with mayo and than the mushroom crust. Bake for 50 min on 350 until the top is slightly crispy. It is soooo friggin good! If you never tried cooking mushrooms over salmon you need to try this recipe! All the juices come out and make the salmon super juicy and delicious!
This salmon is so crazy good! I love cooking salmon. The way it cooks with my awesome sauces and toppings makes me so happy.
WHAT YOU NEED:
- 3 Salmon fillets
- 3 Tbsp mayo
- 2 Tbsp mushroom soup mix
- 1 Tbsp pesto
- 1 Tbsp honey
- Breadcrumbs or cornflake crumbs
Mix all the ingredients besides the salmon together and add water to get the right consistency. You want it drippy enough to coat the salmon. Coat the salmon in the sauce and some breadcrumbs on top. Bake on 350°F for around 25 minutes. Sweet and Sour Sauce:
- 2 Tablespoons ketchup
- 2 Tablespoons soy sauce
- 3 Tablespoons rice vinegar
- 3 Tablespoons sugar
- 1 Tablespoon honey
- 1/2 Tablespoon corn starch
- 1 Teaspoon sriracha sauce
- Sesame seeds (I also used everything but the bagel spice from Trader Joe’s, but it’s optional)
Coat salmon in sweet and sour sauce and add sesame seeds on top. Bake on 350 for about 30 minutes uncovered. If you coat chunks of salmon it would be perfect on an asian style salad!

Mix equal parts honey and mustard together and show your salmon some love! Do not be stingy, girl! Then, the star of the show, the exquisite, divine, awesome, superdelicious everything but the bagel spice from Trader Joe’s, of course! Pour a nice amount of that, too. My favorite and the best salmon I ever made is sesame teriyaki salmon! My secret recipe is coat the salmon in mayo. The mayo makes the salmon soooo moist! The next step is mikee’s sesame teriyaki sauce and I used a ton of this stuff! This was my first time tasting a salmon burger!! So if I’m gona be real with you; it definitely is more fishy than any of my other salmon recipes. Like I would use this as an appetizer and not a main because it’s a little bit much. These rice buns were EVERYTHING tho!!!!! Oh my goodness they were so crispy and delicious! Gave the salmon burger total sushi vibes.
WHAT YOU NEED:
- 2 Pieces of skinless salmon fillet
- 5 Fake crab sticks
- 2 Tablespoons mustard
- 3 Tablespoons chopped green onions
- Some other stuff, too. yano, just to keep you guessing
Put the salmon and crab in the food processor. Add it to a bowl and add mustard, splash of sriracha, little salt and some breadcrumbs. Mix and form even patties. You can bake or fry them, but the frying would probably be better. If you do bake them add a layer of oil because oil just makes everything better.
To the cooked rice(2 cups), add 3 heaping tablespoons of mayo, 3 tablespoons of rice vinegar and half the amount of sugar. Form patties and fry adding sesame seeds and make sure they don’t burn! Oh and by the way I suck at making rice so therefore these crispy fried buns are perfect for failure rice cookers like myself since they taste mighty fine no matter how mushy your rice is!

WHAT YOU NEED:
- Green and yellow zucchini
- Munster cheese
- Fried onions
I sliced some yellow and green zucchinis evenly and coated in olive oil and a lot of spices, everyday seasoning from Trader Joe’s, garlic, paprika, salt, and pepper. I baked them in the oven on 350 until crispy. And I had to add a pic because cmon they is pretty.
While those zucchini chips get all hot and bothered, I prepare the tuna. Now, you can use canned tuna plus mayo and that would equal a mighty fine tuna, buuuut that aint really how I do things. I am too dramatic in mostly all areas! 😉 So I add chopped mild yellow pepper rings and dill pickles plus everyday seasoning, mayo, pesto and dried basil. This tuna is incredible in tuna melts! Once the zucchini chips are cooked a bit, I add shredded munster cheese on top of half of them. When they are fully cooked, I remove them from the oven and add tuna and some fried onions to the other half of the chips.
